Ahn Hyo-Seop

Ahn Hyo-Seop was born on April 17, 1995 in Seoul, South Korea. He has an older brother and a younger sister. When he was 7 years old, his family immigrated to Toronto, Canada, where he learned to speak English and he took the English name Paul Ahn. He returned alone to South Korea when he was 17. Hyo-Seop graduated from Kookmin University, with a degree in International Business. He was discovered by JYP Entertainment where he was a music trainee and was offered to be in the Kpop group GOT7, he declined the offer. Although he is talented in singing, dancing, violin, and piano, his main interest was becoming an actor. He has succeeded as an actor in the Kdramas Still 17, Dr. Romantic 2, Abyss, Lovers of the Red Sky, and The Office Blind Date.. He won Best New Actor in 2018 at the SBS Drama Awards and in 2020 at the BaekSang Arts Awards. Ahn Hyo-Seop won Excellent Actor in 2020 at the SBS Drama Awards. He won Excellent Actor and Best Couple at the 2021 SBS Drama Awards.
